Success at a trade show or conference is all about the pre-planning, concentrated activity during the show and suitable follow up in the days and weeks ahead. Hiring a booth is not a cheap option and all too often, when FMI ask “why are you attending?” we are informed that “all our competitors are attending and it would be highly damaging if we failed to have a presence”. Hardly the right reasons for being there.
